As the concentration of the metropolitan area intensified, the provinces faced the crisis of local extinction such as aging and population decline, and local regeneration emerged as an urgent solution for the country. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze the goals, foundation laws, budgets, enforcement, and feedback processes of regional revitalization policies for bookstores in Bosu-dong, Jung-gu, Busan, and to implement suggestions for regional revitalization policies in the era of local extinction. As a result of the study, conflicts are arising due to differences in policy directions pursued by stakeholders in the policy of revitalizing the bookstore alley in Bosu-dong. In addition, considering the current situation in which the number of bookstores is decreasing, the two policy goals of the Bosu-dong bookstore alley revitalization policy - preservation of cultural resources, revitalization of local culture, and stable store operation support for Bosu-dong merchants - are likely to fail. Accordingly, I would like to emphasize the need for a consultative body to coordinate policy goals pursued by policy stakeholders when they conflict.
