Recently, the concepts of social enterpreneurship and creating social value have become an issue around the world. In the case of tourism companies based on the natural and human resources of a specific region, the importance of this cannot help but be emphasized. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the case of Bong-gyu Song, the founder of Hallim Park, who has been running a tourism company based in Jeju for nearly 50 years, and examine his enterpreneurship and creating social value through his achievements. As a result of the analysis, Bong-gyu Song demonstrated his faith in nature, the spirit of never forgetting the original intention, the attitude of being faithful to the basics, the power to create new opportunities by overcoming difficulties, the love for his hometown, and the pride in the local culture. His enterpreneurship created environmental value by making the region green, and shows the value of coexistence and cooperation with the local community by containing the culture, nature, and history of Jeju in the Hallim park. In addition, by entertaining visitors to Hallim Park, it is fulfilling its natural role as a tourist attraction. And it shows that it has been creating social values, such as pursuing a fair society and creating jobs through various social contribution activities. It is hoped that the results of this study will serve as a guideline for cultivating the enterpreneurship of local tourism company entrepreneurs, and hope that this research will continue in the future on entrepreneurs who operate local tourism companies.
