The purpose of the study is the integration of residential architecture, ICT, and assistive devices for the elderly by performing the needs assessment of pre-seniors for ICT-integrated independent living. The study focuses on the ICT-based residential spaces for the elderly. The method of the study includes literature review, survey for pre-senior, and analysis of the requirement for ICT-integrated residential space for pre-senior. The conclusions of the study are as follows. Residential spaces for the elderly should be safe and a kitchen should be usable even in old age. Additionally, visiting services and help in person should be regularly and systematically supported and maintained.
