In this study, the treatment efficiency was evaluated by using microbubbles for the effective treatment of high-concentration organic wastewater, and the potential for stable operation of the digester was assessed. As a result of the study, when microbubbles were applied to treat high-concentration organic wastewater in a lab-scale microbubbles reactor for 0-40 minutes, the removal efficiency of MLSS, TS and VS in the lower liquid phase separation was found to be more than 65%. In addition, by applying microbubbles to food wastewater and industrial complex wastewater for 0 to 60 minutes, solid-liquid separation and organic oxidation were conducted. Consequently, T-N was reduced by 42.6%, 43.4%, and 36.1%, leading to an enhancement in the C/N ratio from 11.60 to 23.78. On the other hand, the CODcr removal rate varied between digestive wastewater and food wastewater, making it challenging to eliminate even when microbubbles are applied. Accordingly, the application of microbubbles is expected to reduce the concentration of pollutants in digestive wastewater that needs to be connected to the sewage treatment plant, thereby lowering the environmental burden. Additionally, treating high-concentration organic wastewater to improve the C/N ratio through pretreatment before applying it to the digester operation can enhance the efficiency of the digester.
