Childhood drawing not only becomes a means to express individual emotion, feeling, personal emotion, and idea, etc., but visually express one''s own independent world through drawing. Also, as drawing visually creates one''s own world view, dream, emotion, and aesthetic sense, children can display the result of renewing and expanding their world view through drawing process. Sensing ability to observe a thing can be more maximized when realizing visual observation through concrete drawing, rather than limiting it to mere observation. Children can express their idea in various methods such as behavior, language, and painting, etc., however complex idea or imagination can be more concretely expressed through drawing than behavior or language. However, recently children less frequently utilize their hands due to rapid change of media and environment such as the internet and smart phone, accordingly, currently researches on childhood drawing are required. In order to research the importance of childhood drawing, the researcher analyzed the advanced studies related to creative idea of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Robert Hook, Maria Civilla Marian, Newton, Picasso, and Kahal, who left great achievements through effectively utilizing visual observation and drawing. As the result, the implication of childhood drawing can be suggested as follows. First, they had the characteristics that forewent the period. Second, they had a will to realize their imagination. Third, they had an ability to stubbornly observe and express the target. Fourth, They were able to record the object. Fifth, they had a unique method to create the world. Sixth, they provided a flexible value.
