This study aims to find a recycling method for agricultural reservoirs that have lost or deteriorated as agricultural reservoirs. The method of research is to define functional reservoirs for agriculture through preceding studies, case studies, current status surveys, and surveys, and to derive usage plans for each type. The problems of functional loss agricultural reservoirs were found in economic/industrial, safety, developmental, and socio-cultural aspects in previous studies. As a result of the survey, damage to the urban landscape emerged as the biggest problem. Through previous studies and case studies, it was identified that type of hydrophilicity, leisure type, energy development type, types of historical and cultural resources linkage, ecological learning type, etc. are being used. The need for utilization measures has been raised. In order to suggest usage plans for each type, five types were classified based on the size of the agricultural reservoir, the surrounding population, and the presence or absence of ecological and natural and historical resources of the adjacent area. As a result of classification, it was found that the ecological learning type, type C, took up the largest proportion with 10 sites, and the type D, types of historical and cultural resources linkage, occupies the smallest proportion. The result is meaningful in that it defines and classifies the types of loss-of-function agricultural reservoirs in the southern Gyeonggi region, and suggests usage plans for each type.
