The purpose of this study is to analyze problems in the development research of performance indicators for school sports promotion policy projects in 2019, present improvement indicators, and develop new indicators for school sport promotion policy projects considering changes in the external environment such as the mid- to long-term development plan of the school sport promotion council, the school sports policy recommendation of the sports innovation committee, and COVID-19. According to the study, the internalization of school sports consisted of internalization of the operation of the physical education curriculum, expansion of survival swimming practical education for infants and elementary school students, activation of female students'' participation in sports activities, and internalization of career education in the sports category. The school sports club promotion section consists of the school sports club of all-participating and operational internalization of the school sports club competition. In addition, the field of system change for the development of sports talent consisted of supporting student athletes to enter the school, supporting to foster athlete students, fostering student athletes to study and training at the same time, and activating the integrated competition of general students and student athletes. The support system for the revitalization of school sports consisted of the establishment of a cooperative system for the revitalization of school sports, the establishment of an information system for the promotion of school sports, and the creation of a space for various physical activities. Finally, in all sectors, improvement indicators consisted of indicators at the lower level and improvement indicators at the level of increase rate.
