· 연구 주제: 본 연구에서는 외국인 어학연수생 대상 한국어교재의 진로교육 단원 내용 분석과 진로교육 측면의 교수 목표 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
· 연구 배경: 중도탈락하는 외국인 재적 학생 중 어학연수생이 절반 가까이 차지하고 있으며, 한국 유학은 진로 측면에서 희망이 없다는 인식이 중도탈락의 결정적 원인이 되고 있다. 따라서, 한국어교육과 함께 교육과정의 각 단계에서 외국인 어학연수생을 위한 적절한 진로교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해서는 먼저 어학연수생을 위한 한국어교재의 내용분석을 진로 교육적 관점에서 연구되어야 하며, 그에 알맞은 진로교육 목표와 진로교육 방안이 제시되어야 한다.
· 선행연구와의 차이점: 선행연구에서는 한국어교재 내용분석은 문화교육과 발음 교육 관련 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 더욱이 진로교육 관점에서 어학연수생을 위한 한국어 교재의 내용분석은 거의 없다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 따라서 본 연구는 진로교육 측면에서 어학연수생 한국어교재 내용분석을 통하여 한국어교재 안에 진로교육 내용이 존재하고 있는 것을 밝혔으며, 그에 따른 단계별 구체적인 교수 목표 및 교수 방안을 제시하였다.
· 연구방법: 대학기관에서 사용 빈도가 가장 높은 ‘서울대 한국어’를 내용분석 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 진로 관련 선행연구 분석을 통하여 어학연수생에게 교육되어야 할 진로교육 내용 초안을 도출한 후, 진로교육 전문가 3인, 한국어 교수자 3인의 검토를 거쳐 분석 확정한 준거에 의거 교육단계별 진로교육 내용을 분석하였다.
· 연구결과: 본 연구를 통하여 진로교육 관점에서 서울대 한국어 Student"s Book 내용을 분석한 결과 1급부터 6급까지 전 교과 내용 중에서 진로교육을 포함한 단원이 총 132단원 중 117개 단원으로 분석되었다. 진로교육 내용으로 분석된 단원의 진로교육 교수 목표 및 교수 방안을 제시하였다.
· 공헌점 및 기대효과: 한국어 교수자들이 외국인 어학연수생에 대한 진로 인식이 높아지고, 한국어 교육과정 안에 녹아있는 진로교육 내용을 진로교육 차원에서 적극적으로 활용하여 교육하는 데 도움을 줄 것이다. 이에 따라서 외국인 어학연수생의 진로 인식이 고취되며, 어학연수 중에 자신의 진로에 대한 확신이 생기고, 진로 성공을 꿈꾸며, 성공적인 유학 생활을 하게 될 것으로 사료된다. 이에 본 연구는 어학연수생의 중도탈락 예방에 기여될 것으로 기대한다.

· Research topics: In this study, the purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of the career education section of Korean language textbooks for foreign language trainees and present teaching goals and measures in terms of career education.
· Research background: Among foreign students who drop out, language trainees account for nearly half, and the perception that studying abroad in Korea is hopeless in terms of career path is a decisive cause of dropout. Therefore, along with Korean language education, appropriate career education for foreign language students must be provided at each stage of the curriculum. To this end, the content analysis of Korean language textbooks for language students must first be studied from a career education perspective, and appropriate career education goals and career education plans must be presented.
· Differences from prior research: Among foreign students who drop out, language trainees account for nearly half, and the perception that studying abroad in Korea is hopeless in terms of career path is a decisive cause of dropout. Therefore, along with Korean language education, appropriate career education for foreign language students must be provided at each stage of the curriculum. To this end, the content analysis of Korean language textbooks for language students must first be studied from a career education perspective, and appropriate career education goals and career education plans must be presented.
· Research method: ‘Seoul National University Korean’, which is the most frequently used language in university institutions, was selected as the subject of content analysis research. A total of 12 volumes of the Seoul National University Korean Student"s Book were collected. After analyzing previous research, a draft of the career education content to be taught to language trainees was derived, and then reviewed by three career education experts and three Korean language instructors, and the career education content was analyzed at each stage based on the criteria determined.
· Research results: Through this study, the contents of Seoul National University"s Korean Student"s Book were analyzed from the perspective of career education. As a result, the number of units including career education among all subjects from grades 1 to 6 was analyzed as 117 units out of a total of 132 units. The teaching goals and teaching plans for the units analyzed as career education units were presented.
· Contribution points and expected effects: This will help Korean language instructors increase career awareness of foreign language trainees and actively utilize the career education content included in the course at the career education level. Accordingly, it is believed that foreign language trainees" career awareness will be enhanced, and during language training, they will have confidence in their career path, dream of career success, and have a successful study abroad life. Therefore, this study is expected to contribute to preventing dropout of language trainees.
