본 연구는 대학생들의 삶 만족도(행복지수)와 영향요인을 파악하여 삶의 질 관리에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대전광역시 소재 일개 4년제 대학교 보건복지대학 학생을 대상으로 2024년 4월 12일부터 4월22일까지 설문지를 직접 배포 및 수거 후, 누락항목이 없는 설문지 382건을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구방법은 자기기입식 설문조사였다. 자료분석은 MedCalc 프로그램(ver 22.023)을 사용하였으며 특성별 행복지수를 t-검정 및 분산분석(ANOVA)으로 비교하고 주관적 행복인지 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 로지스틱회귀분석으로 관찰하였다. 연구결과, 대상자 전체의 행복지수 평균은 10점 만점에 6.48±2.05점 이었다. 행복지수는 학교생활에 만족할수록(P<0.001), 수면시간 7시간 이상(P=0.016), 숙면 군(P<0.001), 스트레스 없음군(P<0.001), 규칙 운동군(P=0.002), 부모와 대화를 많이 하는군(카톡, 메시지 P=0.027), 절친 수가 많을수록(P=0.002) 높았다. 로지스틱회귀분석 결과 주관적 행복인지는 절친 수가 많을수록(2명 OR=4.99, 95% CI=1.07~23.31, 3명 이상 OR=7.73, 95% CI=1.70~35.20), 규칙적으로 운동을 하는 경우(OR=1.76, 95% CI=1.04~2.97) 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 또한 흡연과 음주는 행복인지를 감소시키고 숙면은 행복인지를 증가시켰지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 대학생 시기는 청소년기에서 성인기로 이행되는 중요한 과정이므로 원만한 가족관계 유지, 폭넓은 교우관계 및 건강한 생활습관 형성을 통해 대학생의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있도록 본인의 자발적인 노력과 사회적인 지지가 필요하다.
The purpose of this study was to identify the life satisfaction (happiness index) of university students and factors influencing it, to find ways to improve the quality of life of the students. The subjects of the study were students at the College of Health and Welfare, a four-year university located in Daejeon City. From April 12 to April 22, 2024, questionnaires were distributed directly to students, and the responses were collected. Responses of 382 students without any missing items were used for this study. The research method was a self-administered survey. For data analysis, the MedCalc program (ver. 22.023) was used, and happiness indices for each characteristic were compared using the t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The factors affecting subjective happiness were identified using logistic regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the average happiness index of the subjects was 6.48±2.05 out of 10. The happiness index was higher in those who were satisfied with school life (P<0.001), slept more than 7 hours (P=0.016), slept deeply (P<0.001), had no stress (P<0.001), exercised regularly (P=0.002), talked a lot with their parents (KakaoTalk, messages P=0.027), and had many intimate friends (P=0.002). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the there was a statistically significant increase in perception of subjective happiness when the number of intimate friends increased (2 people OR=4.99, 95% CI=1.07~23.31, 3 or more people OR=7.73, 95% CI=1.70~35.20) and when they exercised regularly (OR=1.76, 95% CI=1.04~2.97). Additionally, smoking and drinking decreased perceived happiness, while it was increased by deep sleep. However, these results were not statistically significant. The time spent studying at a university represents an important transition from adolescence to adulthood. Hence, students need to make voluntary efforts and may require social support to improve their quality of life by maintaining harmonious family relationships, participating in a wide range of social networks, and developing healthy lifestyle habits.
