Kim Seok-ju (金錫冑) is a writer from the mid to late Joseon Dynasty and holds a very important position in the history of prose literature. This paper seeks to understand the deep torture perceived by Kim Seok-ju and his literary characteristics that appeared through his inclination to this theory of sentences. Kim Seok-ju was born into the Pyeongsan Shin family, famous for prose theory, on his mother's side, and through their influence, he was able to acquire various sentence theories. Since Jinhan Gomun was a literary style that had concise sentences and used a lot of manuscripts, the sentences of writers who admired Jinhan Gomun were very complex. Kim Seok-ju was subjected to Jinhan torture at a very early age, which can be seen as a result of excessive modifications and incomprehensibility to show a sense of superiority in sentences. This was in line with Kim Seok-ju's will to stand out in the Gwageo.
