This study aimed to identify the core technology and demonstration status through national R&D task analysis, and to investigate and analyze the necessity and urgency of core technology through expert surveys. In the case of core technology, 74% of passive technology was window and outer wall insulation technology, and active technology was insufficient in dehumidification, high-efficiency heat pump, and transfer power technology development. For clean energy, photovoltaic technology accounted for 41%, and building energy efficiency optimization design and performance implementation accounted for 72% for carbon neutral realization technology in the building sector. In the case of establishing a building data base, 69% of the cases were monitoring the technologies to be developed. In the case of the demonstration status, due to the government’s green remodeling project, the existing construction-non-residential sector corresponding to public buildings accounted for about 52%. In the existing building-residential sector, 3.7% were for middle and high floors, and this was thought to be due to limitations in various procedures and permits for demonstration. In the case of the need and urgency of developing core technologies, the need for new renewable energy, air conditioning, heating and hot water supply facilities was high as a strategy for decarbonization. In addition, since there are many old buildings among the existing buildings in the current domestic situation, green remodeling was the most urgent, and items to optimally implement these technologies were also found to be urgent.
