The purpose of this study is to clarify the differences in the characteristics of single youth households in Seoul according to the residential movement plan by age, and to propose a differentiated youth housing policy in Seoul based on this, the results of the study are as follows. First, among the characteristics of single youth households according to the residential movement plan, the educational background and average income were higher for households with a moving plan than those without a moving plan. As for the type of housing occupancy, both households with a moving plan and households without a moving plan have a deposit of monthly rent, and households with a moving plan have multi-family houses and officetels, and households without a moving plan have a high rate of dissatisfaction with the noise level around the house, the convenience of parking facilities, and the walking safety of the roads around them. On the contrary, the three age groups without a moving plan had a high rate of dissatisfaction with the ease of access to public facilities such as access to cultural facilities and access to urban parks and green areas. In other words, it was found that they were considering moving with higher dissatisfaction with the surrounding situations such as noise around the house, parking, and walking safety than with access to public facilities. Third, the satisfaction of households who did not plan to move in the housing and residential environment as a whole was higher, but the higher the age group, the higher the proportion of households planning to move according to the poor housing condition. Fourth, the age difference in the housing support program responded that the lower the age group, the most necessary support related to monthly rent is, and it was found that the higher the age group, the more necessary support related to loans such as jeonse and housing purchase is. Fifth, as a result of examining whether the ranked housing support program was recognized, regardless of the ranking, the recognition was insignificant. Through this, it was found that the housing policy for single-person households in Seoul needs to be proposed in a more specialized direction with differentiation in characteristics by age.
