Objective: In this study, we define the design variables of a web layout, conduct a usability evaluation, and propose a suitable layout. Background: Web layouts are used all over the world because of their accessibility, and with so many designs being created, usability research is ongoing. Different web layouts have different duration times, and their features and placement have a significant impact on usability. Method: To check the impact of design variables on usability, we first measured duration time using eye tracking, and then conducted a usability evaluation to 4see if dwell time affected usability, followed by a regression analysis. Results: Types of web layouts include Web Standard, Vento Grid Layout, and Lava Hero Layout, with Web standard being the standard design and Vento Grid Layout and Lava Hero Layout being categorized as Web Trends. Conclusion: Identified a significant difference in usability perceived by users based on web layout placement. Application: As a result of this research, we have come up with a web layout design that is suitable in terms of usability.
