This scoping review aims to analyze research trends on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the field of foreign language education in Korea. A total of 320 studies published by 2023 were identified and screened, resulting in a selection of a total of 93 studies based on the Population, Concept, and Context framework. The included studies were analyzed by (a) research period, (b) research object, (c) language to be learned, (d) research methodology, and (e) research topic. The results were as follows: (1) 58% of CLIL research was conducted in primary English education; (2) The number of journal articles on CLIL has increased rapidly. Furthermore, more and more CLIL studies have been conducted on foreign languages other than English, and in tertiary as well as primary and secondary education; (3) In terms of research methodology, secondary research was conducted primarily for journal articles, with an almost equal number of mixed and quantitative research studies being conducted for theses and dissertations; and (4) various topics were investigated in addition to the effectiveness of CLIL instruction.
