This paper proposes a concept to monitor recyclable trash bins' capacity to be displayed in an E-Commerce service, thus helping people who are looking to purchase a large number of recyclables for various purposes. The objective of this research is so introduce a methodology to collect the capacity information of recyclable trash bins using several IoT devices such as ultrasonic sensors, Arduino, and LoRa communication modules, and store it to cloud DB. After the capacity information is collected, it will be shown on a mobile application-based E-Commerce service that is publicly available. The design in this paper will include a system architecture to show the connection of each required component and a user interface design. The mobile application will show the trash bin's location and the capacity information on a map along with the unit price and an option to purchase the recyclables that come with a delivery service.
