The purpose of this research is to suggest the cooperating model that can provide more effective information to users, and to prove the validity about the suggested model.
To achieve the study purpose, the researcher proposed the cooperating model through the comparison among archives, library, and museum’s works and workplace. To prove the validity about the suggested cooperating model cooperation model, the interview with archivists, librarians, and curators was conducted. Based on the results, the suggested model was revised.
The revised cooperating model are as follows:
First, the second basement is used as a storage space and curator charges it. And the basement will be a space for the cataloging and classification, and curator will take charge of conservation, investigation and research, and Archivist will take charge of an organization of documentaries. 1st floor will be consisted of space for exhibition and the public, and curator will take charge of exhibition. As an additional item, information search space is added for the convenience of users. In addition, the reference desk is installed on the 2nd floor and librarian will take charge of operating this place. For the convenience of users, a range of tables and chairs will be installed between bookshelves.
And reading rooms are separated from the other spaces. reading rooms the library will be charged by librarian, and the place for reading documentaries will be charged by archivist.
The 4rd floor is composed of the place for business, culture and education, and maintaining of systems. The space for arrangement of books is installed in the place for business and librarian supervises it, and curator supervises the place for culture and education, too. Sufficient parking place is needed for the convenience of users.
