Objective : The purpose of this article is to identify clinical efficacy and predictor of patients who treated in Oriental medical clinic with panic disorder.
Methods : In this article we analyzed psychological inspection of 41 patients who diagnosed panic disorder through DSM-Ⅳ or ICD-10 by Two Oriental medical neuro-psychiatrists. Patients make psychological inspections for 8 weeks. Each questionnaires and research relationships of all factors conduct Frequency analysis, Paired t-test, Pearson correlation, Single regression analysis using Stata/SE 9.2 for windows. Psychological scales used in this article are STAI-X-1/2, STAXI-S/T, BDI2, BAI, BSQ, PAS, ASI, LOT-R, SWLS, LSES and LSMS.
Results : Proportion of male and female is 1 to 2. The ratio of 20s and 30s is high 20s is most percentage in Onset-Age and Duration is 1-5years best. Panic disorder with Agoraphobia and Major depressive disorder is more than half and Major accompanied symptom is dyspepsia, chest discomfort and headache. After treatment, many of psychological inspection score is reduced, and Association is found between baseline and 8 weeks questionnaires.
Conclusion : In conculusion, Treatment of panic disorder with oriental medicine is proved to be clinically efficient, comparing before and after the treatment using assessment tool.
