최근 전 세계적으로 주목을 받고 있는 사물인터넷(IoT) 기술의 발전과 함께, IoT 기반 헬스케어 서비스는 IoT 융합 관련 핵심 서비스로서 성장하면서 다양한 IoT 기반 디바이스 제품을 출시하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 제품들은 특정 기업의 자체 고유 플랫폼 기술을 적용하여 개발되었다.
이로 인해 플랫폼 간 혹은 서비스 간 호환성 및 연동성이 보장되지 않는다. 또한, 국제 표준 관점에서 볼 때, ISO/IEEE 11073 PHD(Personal Health Device) 표준 및 oneM2M 국제 표준을 고려하고 있지 않다. 이에 본 논문에서는 ISO/IEEE 11073 표준에 대한 헬스케어 IoT 디바이스/시스템간의 신뢰성 및 연결성을 보장하기 위해 Bluetooth HDP를 활용하고 다양한 의료 시스템 간의 호환성 및 확장성을 유지하며 사용자의 개인 신상 정보와 건강정보를 HL7 표준 규격으로 교환하기 위한 스마트TV 헬스케어 게이트웨이 솔루션을 설계, 구현하였다.
