The purpose of this study is to examine the ethical consciousness of sports leaders and the importance of forming the upright values from the perspective of virtue ethics as measures to resolve unethical problems.
In order to resolve ethical problems in sports, leaders must be ethical themselves. Consequently, the leader must have a solid educational value, ethical consciousness, and conviction. The researcher interpret how important this ethical awareness and guidance values are, and how ethical awareness and values simply acquired or through the knowledge and experience acquired(learned) will have an impact on education for practice in terms of ethics through the research of literature review.
Conclusions of this study are as follows;
First, the virtue is not a congenital ability, but a habit that is cultivated throughh education and training. For becoming a virtuous person, it should have wisdom to practice and practice virtue ethics. In the end, it is seen that ''virtue'' in virtue ethics, that is, moral personality, is learned and formed continuously from various relationships rather than being innate. This kind of moral personality must be learned by practice with a coherent manner in any circumstance. Therefore, it is important that virtue ethics is to educate the virtuous actions to be learned through practice.
Secondly, the role of sports leader is important to have personality and morality to the importance of ethics education from a moral ethical point of view, if the solution of unethical problems in sports is in sports ethics education and ethics education is important in ethics education. Leaders have responsibility and authority as educators because they are educators. And they should not teach in non-educational ways or content. Since the most influential person in education is the leader, it should be able to assist the trainee to have the moral maturity. Therefore, leaders should have the right ethical awareness, responsibility, qualities and firm ethical guiding values as educators.
Third, the moral personality and character of human beings must be learned with expressed and practiced manner consistently in any circumstance. Literally, learning is a ''learning by the body'', which is learned through direct experience, which means that it is a stage enough to handle the work very well in the end. This is because there is a difference from the knowledge acquired by the head. For that reason, in the virtue ethics perspective, the acquisition of practical wisdom should be able to be manifested in any circumstance in a situation that is unfamiliar with the acquisition of practical wisdom, or in a variety of optional situations in which virtue may collide. In the end, it is important that the ethical consciousness and values of sports leaders are learned so that they can be manifested at any time in the unethical situation of various sports.
