본 연구는 부모로부터의 정서적 방임과 신체적 학대 경험으로 애착외상이 있는 아동에 대한 단일사례연구이다. 심리치료적 접근으로는 게슈탈트 놀이치료를 활용하였으며 이 연구에서의 게슈탈트 놀이치료란 오클렌더식 접근방법을 말한다. 연구 대상은 H시에 거주하는 맞벌이 가정의 초등 6학년 남자 아동이다. 상담은 아동에 대한 개별 놀이치료 12회기, 가족과 함께 하는 가정방문 가족놀이 12회기, 아동에 대한 개인상담과 부모상담 각각 6회기, 추수 상담 가족놀이 1회기를 포함하여 총 37회기를 진행하였다.
게슈탈트 놀이치료는 아동의 심리정서 발달에 긍정적으로 기여하였으며 가정방문 가족놀이를 통한 정서 표현의 기회와 가족 간의 긍정적 상호작용, 의사소통 경험은 가족 관계의 향상을 가져왔다. 상담의 과정 분석을 통해 아동과 그 가족의 변화를 가져온 변화 요인으로는 경청과 공감, 치료적 관계, 긍정적 변화에 대한 인식으로 희망 가지기, 모델링을 통한 기술 습득, 놀이의 역동성과 흥미의 다섯 가지가 추출되었다.
본 연구는 애착외상 아동에 대한 게슈탈트 놀이치료로 가정방문 가족놀이의 임상의 실제를 보여주는 것으로서 연구의 의의가 있다. 추후에는 가족을 대상으로 다양한 변인을 고려한 게슈탈트 가족놀이치료의 모형과 프로그램이 개발되기를 제언한다.

This study is a single case study for a child suffering from attachment trauma. The psychotherapeutic approach is a Gestalt play therapy called the Oaklander Way. The subject of this case study is a boy in the 6th grade of a local elementary school, whose mother and father work together for a living.
The aim of the counseling is founding intimacy with the child and improving self-esteem, and improving the family relationship by family paly and parents'' counseling and helping the child adapt to school life.
Gestalt Play therapy applied for the child contributed to mental and emotional development. Family play at home increased emotional express and interaction with families and caused a good family relation.
The process of the play therapy was analyzed and estimated, and the findings provide 5 therapeutic elements: listening closely and empathy, therapeutic relationship, awareness of positive change and making hope, acquiring skills by modeling, dynamism and interest of play.
This case study shows the adaptation of Gestalt play therapy for a child with attachment trauma and the reality of the clinical setting at home with family. And this study advises the Gestalt family play therapy model and program to be developed in the future.
