As consumers'' interest in social environment issues and environmentally friendly values spreads, the direct trade in agricultural products have become more active and the Act on Direct Trade (eg Act on Revitalization of Direct Trade in Agricultural Products, Including Promotion of Use of Local Agricultural Products) for continuous revitalization has been established and the certification system for Good Farmers Market in agricultural products has been conducted.
In this way, since distribution system is simply reduced, it is necessary to make the sales environment not sales place for direct trade which sells only fresh direct trade agricultural products but sustainable place by creating environment-friendly sales space. In addition, there is a lack of consideration of design from an environmentally friendly viewpoint for sales place for direct trade in agricultural products, and it is time to study the approach considering the situation of sales place for direct trade in agricultural products and study on environment-friendly characteristics about this.
Therefore, to analyze the characteristics of eco - friendly design focused on sales facilities of the sales place for direct trade sales facilities selected as Good Farmers Market, this study constructed eco - friendly design evaluation process, evaluation items and analysis framework, and conducted through case studies. The evaluation items established the physical items, such as structure, material, function, accessory and psychological items such as sustainability, harmony, flexibility, pragmatism, linkage, and reliability as the evaluation items, and the detailed evaluation contents were rearranged according to the components of the sales place for direct trade sales facilities. Next, we selected three stores that were certified for excellent business place for direct trade, identified the design status, and evaluated the eco - friendliness of each sales facility component.
As a result, the accessory was the lowest in the physical item, and was low less than the average of 4 points on the whole in the psychological item. For this, it is necessary to reduce the unnecessary use when using accessory and to consider it in the direction of continuous us, and it is also necessary to increase the emotional appeal effect by using the psychological images that consumers feel eco-friendly in the use of the store.
Through this study, it is expected to be used as basic data to establish a sustainable expansion plan of the sales place for direct trade in agricultural products considering the future environment rather than development of existing sales facilities.
However, since this study is only evaluated as the sales facilities of the currently designated Good Farmers Market, there is a limit to grasping the characteristics of the eco-friendly design of other types of sales place for the direct trade, so future studies are required to complement this.
