선박의장품(선박艤裝品)은 선박건조와 관련된 내용으로 일반적으로 선박에 필요한 모든 선구(船具)와 기계를 제작 및 장비(裝備)를 설치하여 선박운항에 사용되는 모든 선용품을 의미한다. 따라서 선박의장품 제조기업은 선박건조회사 즉 조선소에 선박의장품을 제조하여 공급하는 공급기업으로서의 역할을 수행한다.
이 과정에서 공급기업으로서의 선박의장품 제조기업의 역량이 요구된다.
따라서 발주업체인 선박건조회사(조선소)의 관점에서는, 공급기업인 선박 의장품 제조기업의 기대역량이야말로 선박건조회사의 경영에 절대적인 조건일 수밖에 없으며, 또한 선박건조회사의 경영성과에도 매우 큰 영향을 미치고. 또한, 선박 건조회사의 생산에 직결되어 경영성과를 좌우하는 절대적인영향을 준다. 이에 따른 선박의장품 제조기업에 대한 선박건조회사의 신뢰형성도 공급기업의 선정에 결정적인 역할을 하고 있다.
이에 본 연구는 선박의장품 제조기업의 역량이 신뢰를 매개로 하여 경영 성과에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 실증분석을 하였다.
본 연구의 자료수집은 2019년 2월 1일부터 3월 31일까지 부산, 경상남도 지역을 중심으로 선박의장품을 제조하고 있는 기업에 종사하는 자를 대상으로 하였다.
연구자가 선박의장품을 제조하고 있는 기업에 종사하는 사람에게 서베이 몽키(ko.surveymonkey.com)를 이용하여 전자 설문하였다.
총 518명의 응답이 수집되었으나, 설문이 끝까지 완료되지 않았거나, 불성실한 96부를 제외하고 최종적으로 422부의 유효설문지를 통계분석 자료로 이용하였다.
수집된 자료는 코딩 과정을 거쳐 IBM SPSS statistics version 25.0 for windows와 AMOS 25.0을 이용하여 분석하였다.
연구가설 검증을 통한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 선박의장품 제조기업의 역량은 신뢰에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 분석한 결과 품질역량은 기업 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 납기역량과 기술 역량은 제품 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가격역량은 기업 신뢰, 제품 신뢰에 모두 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 납기역량, 기술 역량은 기업 신뢰에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 품질역량은 제품 신뢰에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다.
둘째, 선박의장품 제조기업에 대한 신뢰가 경영성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 분석한 결과 기업 신뢰, 제품 신뢰 모두 재무적 경영성과에는통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나. 비재무적 경영성과에는 영향을 미쳤다.
셋째, 모형의 적합도를 높이기 위해 모형을 수정하는 과정 중에 새롭게 추가된 가설 중 선박의장품 제조기업에 대한 신뢰 중 제품 신뢰는 기업 신뢰에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 분석한 결과 제품 신뢰는 기업 신뢰에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 역시 모형의 적합도를 높이기 위해 모형을 수정하는 과정 중에 새롭게 추가된 선박의장품 제조기업의 재무적 경영성과가 비재무적 경영성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 분석한 결과 비재무적 경영성과는 재무적 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
다섯째, 역시 모형의 적합도를 높이기 위해 모형을 수정하는 과정 중에 새롭게 추가된 선박의장품 제조기업의 역량 중 가격역량은 경영성과 중 비재무적 경영성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 분석한 결과 가격역량은 비재무적 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
