Outdoor space in cluster housing Area is major factor in residential environment and community but it has been treated ineffectively. Because most of developers forced planners to concentrate on the highest F.A.R and profits rather than desirable residential environment, that space became monotonous, gave residents no effect and vitality. Therefore, this thesis focuses on the design of outdoor pedestrian space, which gives cluster housing vitality and identity, and proposes some methods to improve the outdoor pedestrian environment, wich are resulted from the survey of 4 existent cluster housings in kodukdong, Junggaedong, Banghakdong, Kalakdong.
