In order to investigate the torsional vibration of aeroelastic model
to wind load, square section of aeroelastic model with aspect ratio,
H BD of 10 were used in the test where B is the breadth normal to the
flow and D is the depth in the flow direction. The wind tunnel test was
carried out in turbulent doundary layer flow over suburban area. Rapidly
increased torsional vibration phenomenon was observed, which might be
considered as aeroelastic instability phenomenon.
