This thesis aims at giving a general outline of the subject on how our ancestors of Korean immigrants to Hawaii struggled against Japanese militarists, who blocked Korean Liberation and also Korean immigration to Hawaii much more unluckily.
It was in Hawaii poor Koreans were at their best toward attaining Korean Liberation abroad as a base camp of accomplishing Korean Independence Movement. At first they had various difficulties in adjusting themselves to worst surroundings. Everything was so strange and new. and they had to learn how to handle themselves among enemies of Japanese powers, especially. Koreans didn't manage how to live before bitter foreign tribes. Hawaii was a land of surprising limitations. From January. 1903 to December. 1905. 7500 Koreans found their way to the islands. The emigration ceasing about this time very few have gone there since. Under such bitter conditions our Korean ancestors grew and developed very rapidly. Among various adversities, one third of all the Koreans in Hawaii was professing christians. They dominated the hard lives in the sugar camps on the islands of Oahu, Maui and Kauai where they were struggling against Japanese obstacles and diplomacy in being fallen into sympathetic hands in Hawaii and worldwide neglected Korean prestiges Out of the strongest nations.
Korean ancestors exerted themselves to win Korean Liberation from the sly old fox called Japanese militarism. Park, Yong-man established warriors of Korean youngster's Military schools in Hastings, Kerney Nebraska and Ahemanu, Oahu, Hawaii expressing his brilliant Korean spirit to dispel Japanese plundering Korea on earth forever.
It is so urgent for Koreans to succeed to all Korean pride and wealth, because we can not complete our Liberation and immigration entirely from the strongests surrounded us by now.
