The purpose of this paper is to analysis the relation between the narrative form of modern fiction and the system of communication.
Modern fiction has based on typography, the institution of modern education, and modern communicative system. Lee Kwang-soo's Moojeong (<무정>) had been written for voiceless reading rather than voiced reading. MooJeong had been propelled by the reading public appeared through the system of modern education and the typography that could have published vast contents and immense books.
The narrative form of fiction directed for reader than audience could represent objectively by non-appeared narrator. Short narrative distance and objective point of view which create the illusion represented the events in front of readers' eyes had adjusted the separation between real world and fictive. And those could have controled readers in their delicate emotions and thoughts.
Thus the dissemination of modern narrative technique in modern fiction is the reproduction of colonial ideology. This intensive willingness on modernity has contributed to the hegemony of colonial culture. Moojeong had inscribed and diffused the colonial values in its representative form.
