The purpose of this article is to examine the importance of
parents’ leadership and methods that empower their roles in
nurturing Christian faith within a family. This study suggests several ways to improve family education. First, Christian family has to be transformed as the community of faith. Second, church education needs to correlate with family for positive inter-generational experience. Third, church should provide educational programs for parents in order to develop their Christian faith. Fourth, church has to implement a “father’s school” (programs for fathers) in order to improve the father’s image and their Christian faith. Finally, this article explores methods that enhance communication of faith between parents and children in the family community.
