The culture industries have been on the track of globalization, hence the needs of its research has increased. This article introduces diverse basic economic facts related to the globalization of cultures since the early 20th centuries. Thereafter, Wallersein's world system theory and Robertson's and Giddens's perspectives on the globalization of cultures will be explained. These researchers are of social science, and the results of their researches also reflect the tendencies they have as social scientists; they from the macro point of view commonly stress the impact of the development and spread of techniques and capital in the world on the social structure. On the contrary, Appadurai, one of the most influential anthropologists concerning the research of cultural globalization, in his well-known book, Modernity at large, from the micro point of view proposes five scapes for the analysis of global cultures, viz. ethnoscape, mediascape, technoscape, finascape, and ideoscape. According to him, in these five scapes people, images, technologies, capital and ideas are in dynamic flux. He takes the cricket game for example and explicates how the foreign cultural element has been adopted in the Indian cultural climate and has become one of the most proud national heritages apart from its origin. In this essay in line with Appadurai's view that heterogenic cultural elements are on constant interaction to the effect that foreign cultures influence on each other and go through reform continuously, nine subject matters of my concern are dealt with for the concrete treatment of the problematic of the cultural globalization.
