In this thesis, Zi Bong's social association is examined, through the poem of making associates with some scholars in Zibongzip. Out of the many, focused on the Chimryudae scholars, aspects of associations and their poetic qualities are surveyed through their poems exchanged between them. And though the poems with Priests are not many, the aspect of the consciousness in some associations with them is also surveyed. The results are as follows.
Firstly, the aspect of association with Cha Cheon-ro, his intimate friend, with whom most poems are exchanged lifelong, is examined. The sentiment of deplorable friendship caused by goodbye and missing is seen in poems with him. And his good character and gifts, compassion on his wretched situation, his poetic tendency, grief for him are contained
Secondly, the characteristics in exchanged poems with Seong Yeo-chang, a poetic friend, is examined. Poetic words of difficulties is much used, as he lives in difficulties. He also uses the poetic words of difficulties frequently. With that he fathoms, it can be said that, Seong Yeo-chang.
Thirdly, the aspects of association with Shin Heum, his close friend on the side of learning and thoughts, are examined. The poems of association with him, with whom able to communicate spiritually, are exchanged much during his maroon time. As the poems are exchanged in the same plight as a local government post and retirement in Zi Bong's case. missing and intimacy for the close friend is seen more heartfully than any other associates.
Fourthly, Association with Yu Hee-kyeong, the owner of Chimryudae, is not continued on a close one due to age gap and birth. However, through the spatial background of Chimryudae for him, the owner, he reveals his good character indirectly, and also loving and respect for his refined features and unworldly, free mind.
Fifthly, in the association with Priests, he reveals Confucian's attitude and tolerance for all teaching that doesn't conform to Confucianism. In these poems, he reveals not only an aspect of exchanged-fusioning of thoughts through the unworldly Zen attitude, but also an critical aspect for Priest who has a customary intention to secularize poems of association with a negative viewpoint for attaining and perfecting poetry.
