This study proved bilateral difference, peak-torque, ipsilateral ratio, muscular endurance ratio of muscle strength of knee joint using isotonic rate training method for 8 weeks, and observed the effect of this method on a balance development of muscular strength. The experiment was performed for 24 college men who are not-experienced any injury, physical exercise on knee joint. And the subject were classified muscular strength type, muscular endurance type and combined type of isotonic weight training. Each group was trained by isotonic weight training equipment such as leg extension and leg curl for three times a week for 8 weeks. The result was obtained as analysing the effect of training which is divided into which period. 1. Peak-torque(Nm) of bilateral extensor and flexor on knee joint is not similar in differential test among group, but Peak-torque of right lateral flexor in combined isotonic weight training group is higher than other groups. In all groups, Peak-torque of bilateral flexor increased similary as training period. 2. Bilateral, ipsilateral muscular strength ratio(%) of knee joint increased right-lateral similar tendency. As training period, the ratio is growed only combined isotonic weight training group. 3. As the isotonic weight training, bilateral muscular strength differential ratio is not shown similar change. 4. Muscular endurance ratio is appeared likely only right-lateral extensor and flexor muscle. Muscular endurance type in isotonic weight training is tendency to the highest change.
