Report Errors
The objective of the present study is to develop a basic planning elements for the development of sustainable human settlements abstracting the sustainable principles and factors of planning in traditional villages in Korea. For this purpose, first, this study summarized sustainable planning elements of 8 villages through literature review, and second, abstracted quantitative and qualitative sustainable planning factors through field surveys. The results of these investigations were classified into systematic planning goals, indicators and planning elements.
According to the results of this study, 7 planning goals, 12 planning indicators and 28 planning elements were proposed as the conclusions.
