This Paper give an account of the result of field work which Children’s song in Jeju-do and treats the basic problems. There are not sound source in preceding study. So, The sound sources of two distinction singers are material to discuss what treats in this paper. The Investigator who come from Jeju-do is profitable to study Children’s song in Jeju-do. There are several distinction singers in Jeju-do except Gang Jung-sim and Lee Ho-yeon. We will focus on the sound sources of Gang Jung-sim and Lee Ho-yeon.
First, We must study the texture which characteristics of the Jeju-do language. So, It needs to ground study about Jeju-do language. Because of that, the researcher who is not come from Jeju-do cannot understand totally. But The researcher’s hometown is not all to well-balanced study.
Second, We must analyze the songs which recorded in field. It called the viewpoint of text. It is necessary to classify the relationship of the version and type, an individual and gathering. In this course We must compare Children’s song in Jeju-do with Children’s song in land.
Through the study on the texture and context, we must develope the study on the scene of Children’s song. It is the context. The related matters which the relationship of the play and song, singer and listener can be discussed closely. If these things- texture, text, context-examined over all, we can understand totally the meaning of the Children’s song in Jeju-do.
