The purpose of This study was to develop a weight training program to provide affirmative effect to Tae Kwon Do athletes who need anaerobic power and aerobic endurance at the same time for their sparring.
The subjects are 12 Tae Kwon Do Athletes from S university and applicated 12 weeks training program to evaluate measurement of basic physical fitness and special physical fitness. Paired T-Test were used for analyzing the variables and found out the difference between application of program for before and after. Thus, following are the results from the statistical analysis.
1. Variables for fatigue rate and physique, there were 2.13% decrease in fatigue rate, 2.79% and 2.16% increase in grith of thigh right and left, and there was some differences. However, there were not much of differences in grith of shank right and left but they decreased by 0.28% and 0.15%.
2. Variables for isometric musle power, back muscle strength and leg muscle strength had not much of changes, however bench press and squat which are the isotonic maximum muscular strength went up to 6.00% in l-RM, 6.09 in l-RM and there was some differences.
3. Variables for muscular endurance, sit-up and half-squat jump had positive restilt with 1.71%, 2.87%, but there was only diffrences in half-squat jump.
4. Variables for heart endurance, there was 0.13% increase in rest heart rate, and there was stable increase in havard step test with 4.05%. Moreover, there was only change difference in havard step test.
5. Variables for agility and speed, there were decrease in before and after applicating program in 1.78% and 1.39% but there were not much of differences
6. Variables for flexibility, there were not much of differences in trunk flexion and flexibility of hip joint and they increased by 2.42% and 3.91%. But trunk extension decreased by 4.66%, thus there were some change differences.
7. For special physical fitness, peak power, mean power and fatigue index rate increased by 3.08%, 2.98%, and 2.80% for variable of Wingate, however, only peak power had some kind of differences. Also for isokinetic leg muscular strength, all of the variables including right flexion and extension muscular strength and left flexion and extension muscular strength came up positive increase by 7.26%, 6.47%, 4.68%, and 3.30%. All the variables except left flexion muscle had change differences.
