an introduction
The object of this study is to inquire what kind of roles the rhythm in the poems and songs do when poems and songs realize their beings as works of art.
the main issue
1. What are the poems and songs?
We can say that poems are written texts in which rhythms are inherent, and songs are spoken texts in which words are immanent.
Poems are a genre of art which exist as a form of the written text, especially as the written text in which rhythms are inherent. By being read by readers, poems realizes their values as works of art. But before a means of writing came into existence, poems had existed as songs.
Songs are a genre of art which exists as a form of rhythms, particularly as rhythms in which words are immanent. That is a genre of art which realizes their values as works of art by their being listened to listeners.
As the above, these works of art have rhythms. Then, we can have a question that what kind of roles rhythms in the poems and song do when they realize their valse as works of art.
2. Rhythms in the poems and songs
Rhythms in the poems and songs do supplemental role when the poems and songs realizes their aesthetic value as works of art by having appreciators of them produce some images. And also words in song do a subsidiary part when song which exists as a form of rhythm realize their aesthetic value as works of art. If words in song do a subsidiary role when rhythms realize their aesthetic value as works of art, we can say that songs came from rhythms, and they accepted words to realized their beings as a works of art as much as possible.
3. the essence of rhythm
We can see that rhythms are symbolic presentations of the human's empirical modes on the society and the nature in the terms of the auditory sense.
the conclusion
The role of rhythms in the poems and songs is to have the readers and hearers enjoy the aesthetic consciousness by having them purify the meaning of writings and words in the poems and songs, and by reminding them when they read and listen to them about their experiences on the society and nature.
