In the late 1990's, it is strongly required that it is time to build up the new concept of computer technology for us. It is not the already known idea as a data processing method rarely operated by computer. Because by embodying Multimedia able to integrate each Media, computer technology foresees us the reality of the information society which it will create with not only a data processing method but also a data transmitting way and the opening scene of moving pictures for 21 st century.
Special effects of motion picture, belonging to a category of visual effects, have new potentially with digital technology. The optical image that couldn't be completely expressed, has been developed into digital image. In addition, this digital images run over perceptional and imaginary limits of human visual means of expression, with reproduction and transformation.
Lately computer presented more technical function which is to make picture than a simple processing skill of letters or mathematical calculation. This is Computer Graphics that we generally apply to the field of design and the progressive of digital non-linear editing system. All of them are caused by the development with using binary digit of '0' and '1', a data processing method pertaining to the function of computer method above.
In conclusion, the digital technology used in non-linear editing system increased human perception and imagination, and plays a great part as a new media of expression in public visual communication.
