In this treatise, I studied the landscape in Baek Seok's poems. There are three kinds of landscape poems in Baek Seok - the poems that natural landscapes are described, the poems that customs and scenery are described, the poems that human actions are described.
First, there are many children narrators in the poems that landscapes are described. In this case, the landscape is very local. The things in Baek Seok's local poems are organized very friendly. This local landscape poems are directed for utopia. There are some poems in Baek Seok's landscape poem that show the destroyed landscapes. These landscapes are related with adult narrators.
Second, the poems that customs scenery are described show happy and beautiful landscapes. The customs and scenery that are related with the unification of community show vital landscapes. In Baek Seok's landscape poems, customs are related with playing, and scenery is related with foods and agricultural tools. These customs and scenery are disappearing in front of modernization.
Third, there are many landscape poems in Baek Seok' poems that human actions are described. The landscapes grasped by sight of narrators are filled with happy and vital things. Here, Things are organized very organically and friendly. The poetical subject is related with object equally.
