“MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2” is a complicated structure， which is often used in modern Chinese. It has two different grammatical meanings Sometimes it means “every”，but sometimes it means “every other”. And when the text circumstance is not clear， it has both of the two meanings. All of these confuse learners of Chinese and foreigners. Therefore， it is necessary to analyze it thoroughly and find the reasonable pedagogical thoughts. At present， there is no detailed explanation and analysis about it， and some recent conclusions about it maybe need to be discussed again. Based by the available research achievements， this paper investigates the grammatical meanings of “MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2”， the semantical featuers of it， the syntactic functions in 500 sentences， which are selected in the CCL.
This paper mainly comprises five parts:
First of all， this paper introduce the reason why to choose this topic， only because the complexity of “MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2”.
In the second part， this paper summarized the the available research achievements about “MEIGE”，and also explainded the research field of this paper.
The third part investigates the grammatical meanings of “MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2”，and this part also investigates the two different meanings of it，and the relationship between the grammatical meanings.
The fourth part investigates the syntactic functions of “MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2”，and finds that the different component of MEIGE、Numerals1、VP and Numerals2.
In the fifth part， this paper summarized the feature of “MEIGE＋Numerals1＋VP＋Numerals2”. And also deals the contribution of this paper. Then tell the place where still need to do rearch deeply.
