This paper focused on the Magazine Chongdongwon(總動員) in 1940's. The Magazine Chongdongwon can show how fascism stirred up the popular passion by Japanese imperialism. The first aim of Chongdongwon was to make colonized people, especially colonized men participate in the movement Gukminchungsin-chongdongwon- it means to make all nation unite their minds under the rule of the emperor in Japan.
Chongdongwon lead colonized men into temtation that all of colonized people could be real Japanese and enjoy their lives like loving, being happy and so on. Chongdongwon placed "an exclusion" and "a subsumption" in an appropriate position. "An exclusion" is stronger, the desire of "a subsumption" is also stronger. Therefore Chongdongwon forced colonized people to be under the control through "an exclusion" against being Nation
By the way, the ultimate aim of Chongdongwon turn its face to colonized women who had responsibilities to raise their children and support their husbands. Japanese Empire had to fight battle at the End of Japanese Colonial Rule. They couldn't help needing the help a rear base from colonized women. Therefore Chongdongwon gave them to be opportunities of Nation as they followed Japanese colonized discourse. As a matter of fact, it was colonized women that Chongdongwon had called for imaginary colonized readers.
It was possible to make colonized people subsume since imaginary readers of Chongdongwon based on "patriotic groups". "Patriotic groups" was a strategic arms in order to persuade colonized people into being Nation. Chongdongwon that focused on the readers of the lower classes in colonized Chosun was a temptation itself. Chongdongwon had tried to hold under control by means of repetition, drilling, training, and controling.
Finally the strategic theory of popularization in the Magazine Chongdongwon at the End of Japanese colonial rule was "a tempting narrative". The Narrative had included "a love", "an exclusion" and "a subsumption". The progress of the subsumption was through the tempting narrative. After all the strategic theory of popularization in the Magazine Chongdongwon was a tempting as the name of "Fascism".
