The purpose of this study is to establish a direction of study on Korean ancient history based on the results of studies which have been researched on the Paleolithic Age, the Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age in Korea.
The researches on Korean ancient history have been carried out early because they are closely related with the origin of Korean people. Various views of some topics on Korean ancient history have been suggested.
What is important in the study of Korean ancient history is to do comparative researches because the space of it includes the Korean Peninsula and the northeastern districts of China.
It is important to note that some genuine debates have been recently made on the period of the Paleolithic Age and the Neolithic Age in Korea. The most important point of this study is that the already existing facts have been modified owing to a lot of excavations and examinations on the Bronze Age.
