This study purposes to inquire into cognitive behavior strategy for bringing out peak performances, its subjects are 12 shooting players consisted 7 males and 5 females who qualified for the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. The study conditions of cognitive behavior strategy for bringing out peak performances is divided into 3 periods; pre-competition, in-competition, post-competition. Pre-competition period is from D-100 to the day before of Paralympics and it is classified into 9 phases. In-competition period is from the moment of preparation of shooting position to the last shooting in final and it is classified into 6 phases. Post-competition period is divided into the moment right after the games and the breaks between games. And these periods are analyzed inductively. Generally in all three periods, psychological reinforcement shows the highest frequency. And in pre-competition period, physical condition control follows right after with frequency of 72(24%). In in-competition period, trigger timing optimization follows next with frequency of 10(16%). In post-competition period, preparation for the next game round follows right after with frequency of 13(34%). 'No strategy' strategy is seen constantly and its reason is assumed because the controlling physical disabilities are recognized as a life not a strategy. This study generally examines cognitive behavior strategy of disabled athletes for bringing out peak performances and it is expected that this study can help to build up the useful basis for disabled athletes by developing effective training ways and designing psychological training plans.
