The purpose of this paper is to examine the adjective+imperative ending ‘-어라’. In the previous study, the semantic feature of the adjective which combines imperative ending ‘-어라’ was asserted to be the control and intention of subject. But ‘control and intention of subject’ is not received in the viewpoint of the word class of adjectives. The adjectives express the evaluation of the speaker and the imperative ending as well as exclamatory ending ‘-어라’ share this evaluation, so the imperative ending ‘-어라’ combines with adjectives regardless of the specific semantic feature. Especially the adjective+imperative ending ‘-어라’ express the wish which is not restricted to the hearer unlike the verb+imperative ending ‘-어라’.
