From 1876 opening of the port to the foreign trade to the 1894 peasant war was period of magnifying contradiction and adding invasion of the outside influence to the latter period of Choson dynasty.(朝鮮後期) Therefore during the period of developing product circulation economy helped magnifying and strengthening the landed class also excessive heaviness of feudalistic tax plundering was helping the peasant class to fall.
This paper is proving with the fact the 1885's peasant protest that the Chon-hwan(錢還) problem which was all over the country and developing the 1862 Won-ju peasant protest to the 1894 peasant war with looking into the peasant protest subject movement.
This paper have divided above in order to explain. In chapter 2 the paper is about the peasant protest attitude of discord movements and looking at it with the management of Government, which was growing the public officials and growing opponent power. And about opening and closing cereals loaning program(還穀) which was one of direct cause of peasant protest. The chapter 3 is about the starting of the peasant protest to right before it's becomeing of 1894 peasant war.
With all the facts from the above proves that after the opening the port to the foreign influence have caused the fall of the stoping novels and growing the middle class. Also Won-ju peasant protest was the first uprising in Kang-won do(江原道) to try to stop or control the problem of country, which is Chon-hwan(錢還). During the peasant protest it's group and ritual shows that it is becoming in to the peasant war.
