This paper aims to show more concrete procedures in a practical TEE (Teaching English in English) class. In a TEE class, learning activities must be done interactively and CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) has to accompany them. A teacher as a facilitator must design a lesson plan so that students may play a central role in the class exchanging their ideas cooperatively and creatively. For example, a TEE class could be activity-centered and communicative by using TBLT, which the students are given a task from the real world. In addition, Jigsaw reading activities, which can encourage cooperation among peers, would be effective in teaching reading through group activity, and Crisscross puzzles could motivate students to learn vocabulary. This paper refers to the background and rationale for adopting TEE through CLT, and then it explains the classroom activities mentioned above through a real TEE open class. Finally, it evaluates the open class with suggestions for how to develop TEE in the classroom. This paper presents authentic teaching skills via a variety of class activities which can be implemented usefully in future TEE classes.
