??Until the Enlightenment one of the most controversial and important subjects in the department of theology is the relationship of faith and reason. This subject has been discussed in various forms directly and indirectly with other related subjects. However, after the Enlightenment two subjects has become significant, which theology should deal with and suggest a solution for Christianity. One is the relation of faith and history, and the other is the relation of faith and natural science.
??In this article, the relationship between faith and natural science would be focused on. Natural science has developed itself in many fields of science since the scientific revolution of 17th century. Theology should answer the many questions which have been raised by natural science. If theology cannot give proper answers to christians today, the Christianity would fall in the danger which breaks down the foundation of the Christianity. This is the real crisis that the Christianity faces in the early stage of 21th century.
??This article gives attention to the relationship of faith and science through the study of Pannenberg’s theology of nature. Pannenberg is interested in the subject of natural science and has written many books and articles on the dialogue of theology and science. In this article on Pannenberg’s theology of nature, I attempt to find out a clue to solve the problem given to the modern theology by natural science.
