This paper examines the mentoring programs of new church member training for church growth. It deals with new church member training shown in the Bible. For new church member training in the Old Testament, training on Israelites and on various foreign people during the exodus process for religious converts. The early church period and the Middle Ages is new believer trained at Catechesis and Catechumenal School. But Now It is to need the programs and systems for new members of church.
A career developmental function and psychosocial function showed a correlated relationship with mentoring functions excluding role model function. In mentoring, mentor listened carefully to what mentee said to induce their thinking and made questions to expand their thinking. Mentee gave more attention to instructions and became more active because of more receptive attitude of mentors towards interactions with them. The mentoring gave encouragement, confidence, and emotional support.
Mentoring programs is to help determine the learning for the spirit and traditions of church, to help self-directed learning readiness by mentor and mentee. It is to determine the relationship between new members and members. By mentoring programs of church for new members, Mentoring experience and ego-identity among hearing impaired depending on their personal background showed some statistical difference. There were influence that mentoring function of new members to church commitment.
1) The mentoring Programs give influence to emotional commitment for himself.
2) The mentoring Programs give influence to continuous commitment for church.
