This study in physical education class, by finding out the change in intrinsic motivation and physical self-efficacy of students after presenting them with measured specific verbal feedback, attempted to identify what feedback methods induce intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy in students. 145 first-year students participated in this study (72 male students, 73 female students) and collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, analysis of variance and individuals. The results are as follows: In the case of female students, feedback was taken heed to, enhancing intrinsic motivation, but showed no effect on physical self-efficacy. However, male students who received feedback, while they became obsessed with increased intrinsic motivation as well as efforts, interest, and competence, they also showed enhanced physical self-efficacy. Therefore, those in charge should conduct class by establishing teaching strategies which can advance and increase students" sense of self-efficacy through intrinsically motivated class activities. Because students operate with an awareness of goals and focus on their interest in the idea of class activities, class leaders need to pay more attention to students" desire to achieve in the activities of the class rather than just paying attention to results gained through class activities. While students need to understand and be informed of psychological benefits of the results of striving to progress in physical activity, it is more important to form an attitude towards physical activity that encourages long-lasting participation. In order to develop effective university sessions and activities, class leaders need to guide students" sense of self-efficacy m a positive direction, get rid of passive teaching methods, and present students with accurate feedback about their ability in physical activities.
