Recent years, all passenger car and utility based on the driver seat of the car is equipped with air bags. In addition, passenger side airbag is fitted to reduce injury during a side collision and the tubular head protection airbags and curtain airbags are installed for side crash and rollover accidents. But according to the actual accident, the airbag did not working cases happened.
In this study, gray zone of the airbags was analyzed for accident cases by project instruction . The possibility of airbag deployment were presented with the size of each region through crash type and collision rate. And the based on this information, the behaviors of the airbag was expressed more detail.
