There are three types of ecological imagination in the poetry of Shin: imagination on interdependence and reciprocality, imagination on samsara, and imagination on symmetry.
The imagination of interdependence and reciprocality shows images of the principles of nature. The principles mean that we depend on the nature and other people and that we should help the nature and other people.
The imagination of samsara shows the images of the dead mother. The mother reveals herself through the nature. The poetic self feels the mother who cares and nurtures him.
The imagination of symmetry shows the images of the community of hylozoism. This kind of imagination makes various community and beings equal. Therefore all the communities are like human society in Shin’s poetry. And all the beings have the equal personalities.
Such imaginations of Shin are very useful for the ecological education of children.
