Today, the railway have established itself as an absolute means of transportation to solve the global warming and to meet the government"s low-carbon green growth, also the study on the energy conservation is been continuously proceeding by government and the Industry -University-Institute collaboration. This paper is study on the correlation of between the train power consumption and the energy storage system that applied in substation. Also this paper will analyze the energy consumption of trains in each operation mode. The test was modeled Daejeon urban railway system and the energy consumption in terms of EMU are analyzed. The test results of the analysis will be help that applied the optimized train operation pattern and future, construction of the railway system by applying energy-saving elements.
