The purpose of the study was to investigate whether or not the SNP T45G gene single nucleotide polymorphism in Cardiorespiratory fitness were associated with obesity markers in young 688 korean adults. Body mass index, fasting blood glucose, Adiponectin concentration lipid profiles were measured in every subject, SNP 45T/G in the adiponectin gene were determined by Taqman polymerase chin reaction (Real time PCR) method. The obesity markers was estimated by BMI (body mass index), (%body fat), waist circumference and Waist hip ratio. Wide type of SNP 45T/G was T allele in korean. BMI had significantly higher G allele group that was risk factors. BMI was significantly lower cardiorespiratory fitness low group. In multiple linear regression, Metabolic syndrome scores, adiponectin, and VO2max analyzed as independent variables of BMI.
Adiponectin gen SNP 45T/G were related to cardiorespiratory fitness and BMI. BMI was significantly lower in Low cardiorespiratory fitness group. but doesn’t found independent variable. Cardiorespiratory fitness is low in populations with G allele was higher association between insulin resistance and could not find it.
